The NIVRE is organised into nine different sectors (technical lines) headed by their respective sector boards. Every sector has its own additional registration requirements to assure the best service within the sector.
The sector boards monitor developments and changes in the market, particularly in their own sectors.
If there are any developments that affect the general interests of the NIVRE or the members, or that may lead to initiatives for general or specific improvements, a sector board as a whole, or a portfolio officer dealing with that specific area, will advise the executive board or the management. In addition, the sector boards focus on training that is tailored to the admission requirements for the Register and on organizing seminars for the sector in question that comply with the required quality standards.
